The Dinner

Woke up really late and just hung out at Arman's for the better part of the day trying to sort out the birthday dinner. Turns out he's quite an adept organiser and I think the reason why the night went so smoothly was purely because of him.

We went there a little bit earlier to see how the Saturday night situation would be since they wouldn't let us reserve a tabledidn't let us book. Turns out it was totally packed, and it was only through persuasion that we managed to get a table in one and a half hours - and that was fast. We hung out at Starbucks and a pub during the wait.

Got heaps of cards, a bottle opener from Jenny, a (Toblerone) Rose from Elle, and a couple of British Museum memorabilia from Osamu. There were 18 people at Chiquito's and I had the Fiesta Mixed Grill - was so full afterwards. I got a slice of Chocolate Cake (surpise from someone?), and Sophia loaded me up on Siestas and Margaritas as well. Wasn't cheap :( But really, thanks to everyone for turning up and celebrating my birthday with me! Hope you had a great time!
